Identicom (Lone Worker Protection Device) ::

As part of their staff protection portfolio Visual Verification offers the Identicom lone worker device. Designed specifically for those facing the threat of verbal or physical abuse during their working day, the Identicom is a discrete unit ideal for those in the health and council industries.

Doubling as an ID card, the unit has several functions which (when required) alarm through to the monitoring station by pressing a button. The lone worker can also be geographically tracked using the unit, anywhere in the world.

The 2424 Communicator connectsserially to the alarm panel, enabling alarm transmission over any communications path (PSTN, ISDN, IP, GSM or GPRS).
Compliant with the latest security standards (PD6662, BS8418) and industry requirements (ABI, ACPO, CACFOA). Each system commissions to the 2424 gateway
, installed at Visual Verification, using a secure and encrypted link. 2424 protects
the transmission of events from the system and enables Visual to detect line failure
on any path within 3 minutes.
